ZOLL CPR-D-padz are intended for adults only. They must not be used for patients under 8 years of age.
Never use adult electrodes or CPR-D-padz on patients under 8 years of age
Time and again, misstatements about the use of adult electrodes with children occur among providers of first aid or BLS-AED courses. However, the manufacturers' statements are clear. Here is an excerpt from the administrator's manual for a ZOLL AED Plus defibrillator:
