First Responder Symposium - Exchange and platform for first responders

Since 2009, the Swiss First Responder Symposium has been held annually in March in Nottwil. Between 200 and 300 interested people from all over Switzerland and neighbouring countries meet at this event to update themselves on the latest technical developments and to exchange views with like-minded people on this major topic. The symposium includes presentations, workshops and an exhibition. The participation fee includes catering.

As patron partners, the First Responder Symposium is supported by the Interverband für Rettungswesen IVR, the Swiss Resuscitation Council (SRC), and the Schweizerische Vereinigung für Betriebssanität (SVBS).

By attending the First Responder Symposium, you can have 3.5 hours credited to your IVR continuing education. If you attend the symposium every year, you will fulfil the 7-hour training requirement for levels 1 and 2. For level 3, the requirements are 14 hours per 24 months.
