The tents here in Switzerland have been broken down in order to set out on new paths in the wide big world: Tanja and Michael Zwicky set off from Stäfa, free of ballast with only 120 kg of personal luggage each. Since 25 August, their adventurous journey has taken them eastwards towards the light and around the globe for an indefinite period of time.

Well-equipped first-aid kit

Under the chapter "Caution is the mother of china", the couple has prepared for rescue emergencies. In their luggage is a defibrillator, which they hope will never be used. The Zwickys write about this in their newsletter:

"Our motto is: prepare for the worst, but count on the best. This is also evident in our pharmacy: in addition to normal dressing material, we have a tourniquet with us, two emergency splints (splints). and even a defibrillator from resQshock. This one is amazingly small with a diameter of 15 cm and yet has a battery life of four years. Let's hope we never need it all...".

Yes the Zwickys are well equipped for the big trip, as their luggage list shows:

By the way, it is a nice side effect that the Zwickys not only prevent their own health, but also travel the world as first responders. And with their defibrillator in the emergency kit, they can also save the lives of other citizens of the world.

Around the world on four wheels

Whether beach or city life, the VW Bus T3-Synchro is not only a means of transport but also Zwicky's dreamy new home: on 12m3 of car and tent roof with the most beautiful forecourts, the most spectacular views and the largest green outdoors.
