Stuffed Inside

Searched for the word infarction and flew through it very quickly in shock, as a writer without a medical but human background allowed: it goes from the eye under the kidney, from the brain to the bones! What everything in our body can suffer from infarction is incredibly frightening. So let's stay with the heart, which is what this is all about.

I n f a r c i r e

The Latin origin of infarcire, "to stuff in", pondered further in search of the meaning and came to the conclusion: everything we stuff in excess leads to congestion in a part of the body or the channel to it. And we are talking symbolically and figuratively about the legendary Gotthard traffic jam.

Too much intus. In times of overfull consumption, it can only be a consequence to stop when it would be too much. The "would be" is the decisive factor. When do we know when enough is enough? When do we stop when there is too much? The best time is too late and the time when stress symptoms, crises of meaning and the alarm level are at red. And no extra smoothie, no special soup day, no interval fasting or alcohol-free Ramadan like many after Fasnacht will help.

If there's too much rubbish in the wake, it's got you. And me. Thanks to all those who vote 144 in time, and SOMEONE up there who hasn't yet completely extinguished the light for me. My heartfelt thanks go out to you.
