The Berntor pharmacy would like to draw attention to this great achievement of our heart with its heartbeat campaign.
Every 90 minutes a person dies in Switzerland because the heart suddenly stops
Unfortunately, however, a person still dies every 90 minutes in Switzerland because the heart suddenly stops. In many cases, the use of a defibrillator can prevent such sudden cardiac death.
In Murten, such fully automatic defibrillators (AEDs) are available for use at numerous locations and it is quite easy to learn how to use them.
In a video clip produced especially for the heartbeat campaign, the Berntor pharmacy shows you in a vivid way how defibrillators work and where to find them in Murten. Come by and take a look in the shop windows.
Or you can come to the pharmacy from mid-March, lend a hand yourself and position the AED electrodes on a demo manikin. You will be amazed at how easy it is!
