For some years now, it has also been possible to make an emergency call via the Echo112 app. The app can be used worldwide and forwards the emergency call to the nearest emergency call centre via an SOS button. Echo112 has the great advantage that the exact location of the caller can be transmitted. The first important thing is to inform the caller that the call is being made via the app. Then the exact location of the caller can be determined via the mobile phone number. The app is available for Android and iOS.
