Defibrillator mandatory

Even though there is no legal obligation to provide Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs), many companies have committed themselves to become active and provide AEDs in their facilities.

When should I get a defibrillator (AED)?

The question of when to purchase a defibrillator can be based on the risk assessment:

  • Size of the farm
  • the age of those present
  • Special operational hazards (e.g. electricity)
  • Waiting time until the arrival of the rescue service (over 3 to 5 minutes from the event)

If you have purchased a defibrillator, it should be located in a public area and marked with a defibrillator sign.
