A heart journey goes on for a lifetime. Like a taxi rolls and rolls. Inside, representative of so many among us, sit four heart people on their way to Liebefeld or wherever there is a favourite spot.

Heart People

On a Heart Journey

They are committed to their hearts and are there for each other. Just in time for the days around the beloved or ignored Valentine's Day, this is about connectedness of two but also lonely hearts.

Why a taxi driver becomes a heart saver is commonplace for everyone among them: the stories they get to hear at the wheel are material for thicker books. Especially at night. Silent listening often has to suffice, because many nationalities work as taxi drivers, and they certainly never understand everything. They don't have to. That may not bother the passenger either, the main thing is that he is allowed to talk about his worries. But what if his heart is not fluttering from psychological torment or passion, but from a medical-physical point of view? Heroes are once again the taxi drivers and they are heart savers not only on Valentine's Day. Trained and equipped with defibrillators, they are part of a first responder network that should set an example in the Swiss taxi scene - and not only in the Bern-Fribourg area.
