144 on the day of the emergency number
After alerting 144, the life-saving paramedics come to the emergency only as the fourth link in the five-link chain of survival. They only come when one is in bad shape. And they come as fast as they can in their mobile intensive care units to stabilise a patient, make him or her fit for transport with initial emergency measures and take him or her to hospital.
Information events dedicated to rescue and emergency medical services will be held throughout the country on 14 April. Everyone can find out where ambulances, police and fire brigades will be on their doorstep for the 144 Day of Action. This day is dedicated to these heroes!
